Detailed Buildings constructs over 20 custom made buildings each year.

Beautiful Stable
Each year Detailed Farm Buildings Ltd. builds several horse barns and riding arenas; each one is unique in its design and is based on the particular needs of our clients. No project is too small or too large. We build every horse barn from quaint two stall sheds to large equine complexes with double aisle-ways, skylights, indoor/outdoor stalls, ventilation systems, fire and emergency features, and landscaping.

Our building crews have over thirty years of experience at hands-on building of horse barns and arenas. We have access to the latest building materials and are constantly keeping informed about the latest trends in barn design, materials available, green and environmentally friendly options, and international design ideas.

Horse Stalls
Most clients are informed and have definite ideas about what they require. We appreciate the opportunity to also offer creative, experienced input into the design phase of the project when possible so that we can work as a team to come up with the best plan based on experience, budget and need.  Details such as dimensions of the stalls, which stall system to use (everything from standard to custom, galvanized to powder-coated, wood, brick or block), flooring in the stalls, feed and water systems, manure removal, lighting, wash stalls, tack room, feed storage, living quarters are taken into account. The possibilities are endless, but we can help to narrow down the decisions... and it can be FUN! We have  an album of barns and arenas we have completed to help illustrate the options, as well as product catalogues, and sometimes it is possible for clients to visit similar facilities we have built within their region.

Horse Barn
It is important that the barn is attractive, functions well, is built to last, and includes all of the features that are needed for it to do so. We can ensure that important practical considerations such as good ventilation, suitable levels of insulation, access to natural light, best use of available space, proximity to water source, energy needs, best use of square footage, building is in compliance with local building code, safety and emergency features, are incorporated into the building.
